Yes, my mom took me and we spent three days on an absolute lobster quest. quest to have lobster at every single meal and we did. Yeah. You guys must be rich. Oh, you do. It's really hard not to do the accent while you're there. Is it? And they don't like it. What's the accent? Like kind of like a Boston accent? Like you know, like we were Northern yeah. we were at a bar, you know, ordering beers and like, I'll have the gally wabbler. He's like, why are you talking like that? You started it, you know. Like it just happens. I'm just saying. I don't know if it's true, but I've heard like they're they love tourism, but they don't want people to move there basically. They love you to come. come visit, have a good time. Come spend your money. like leave. They do not want like yeah. Maddie Jay, if you're listening to these, let us know. Do you want uh intruders into your state. Yeah. Okay, next up is Andy. Okay. Which National Park in Maine is famous famous for Rocky, Atlantic Headlands, Carriage Roads, and Cadillac Mountain. I believe that is Acadia National Park. Absolutely. There it is. I've learned that since we've started this show as a matter of fact. I did not get to go to that National Park while I was there. I really I Green too much lobster. I really was. They had the ball on that one. It's 8 hours away. away from us. I'm glad you got that one. We won't make it. No, we're not making that. So, we've been looking at vacationing there and there's a Moosehead Lake, I believe it's what it's called and you're basically guaranteed to see a moose if you go there. Yeah. Wow. I know. These are gigantic. I know someone that did a hunt up there and brought moose home brought a moose home. So cool. I'd love to see one in person cuz I know there's so much bigger than you think. enormous. Oh, he killed it. That's cool. Yes, he did. What small Sandy Cove in Kennebunk earned its popular nickname because its calm, shallow waters and playground make it a favorite for parents with young children. I do not know the answer. Anybody got any ideas? Nothing. I have no clue. I've never heard of a bay in Maine. Uh No. Banger Cove. I have no idea. There you go. Banger Cove. It is actually called Mother's Beach. Yeah. I wasn't I didn't really think y'all would know that, but I've been there and it was my favorite beach in Maine, so that's. Okay. Is that because it was calm waters and whatever else you described there? It was, but it was. A lot of lobster there. The tide is so huge in me. like we were sitting on the the beach and we had to pick up our chairs and move over and over and over again because the tide was coming in and it was just it was really shocking to me I guess because I live in Illinois. Yeah. Um, okay. Um, next up is Nick. Maine became the first US state to pass a statewide law banning the manufacture and sale of what product in 1851. Oh, it's going back away. Mm. First instinct would be slave, but that doesn't seem right. No, no. answer the question. right. You're not manufacturing at that point. I know I I realize where your head's going from a timeline perspective. What product? You think alcohol would be? Alcohol, hemp? It is alcohol. Yeah, okay. Yes. Well, there you go. They were the first to take prohibition and run with it, huh? Absolutely, and it just kind of goes to show that their influence is national long before, you know, there were headlines. Sure. Yes.
